Upper Arlington homes, original woodwork intact.
Upper Arlington is the most detail-heavy suburb we clean. Old Arlington homes from the 1920s and 1930s have leaded glass, hexagonal bathroom tile with narrow grout lines, original plaster, and stained millwork that has never been painted and should not be treated as though it has.
This is not a market where you want a rotating crew learning your house on the fly. The cost of one wrong product on original finishes is far higher than the cost of the clean.

The housing stock
What cleaning a Upper Arlington house actually involves
Old Arlington, closest to the river, is brick Tudors and colonials from the 1920s and 1930s — slate and hex tile floors, plaster walls, radiators, and built-ins throughout.
The Tremont and Barrington areas add 1940s and 1950s homes with more standardized layouts. Newer Upper Arlington toward Henderson Road brings mid-century ranches.
Across all of it, bathrooms tend to be original or carefully restored, which means grout that needs the right approach rather than the strongest one.

Questions
What Upper Arlington households ask us.
What do you use on original hexagonal bathroom tile?
A pH-neutral cleaner and a soft brush on the grout. Nothing acidic, nothing abrasive, and no bleach-based product that will lighten aged grout unevenly. Original tile is not replaceable and we treat it that way.
Our woodwork has never been painted. Will you be careful with it?
Yes. Stained, unpainted millwork gets dusted dry or with a wood-appropriate product, never a general-purpose spray. Tell us at booking and your cleaner will have it in their notes permanently.
Can you clean leaded or stained glass?
We clean it gently by hand with minimal moisture. We do not attempt repair or re-leading, and we will point out any panel that looks loose rather than working around it silently.
